SmartWrist Database System — University of Dundee Group Project

This university group project involved collaboratively designing and implementing a centralized database system for a global smartwatch company. Working as a coordinated team, we divided responsibilities across research, requirement analysis, data modeling, ER diagram design, normalization, and SQL development to ensure an efficient and scalable system. Through continuous communication, shared problem-solving, and structured task management, we successfully created a relational database capable of managing employees, customers, products, inventory, orders, and payments across multiple international branches. The project demonstrated strong teamwork, technical coordination, and collective decision-making while applying real-world database design principles in a professional development setting.

Exploring global startup funding and unicorn valuation trends using R.

In this project, I analyzed a global dataset of 5,000 high-growth startup companies to explore patterns in funding, valuation, industry performance, and investor activity. Using R, I performed data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and visualization to identify trends such as the relationship between funding rounds and company valuation, industry-level investment concentration, and geographic differences in startup growth rates. The analysis provided insights into which sectors attract the most capital, how investor involvement impacts growth, and how startup ecosystems vary across countries. This project demonstrates skills in data manipulation, statistical exploration, and business-focused data storytelling using R.
